St Nicholas of Swafield sits proudly on a hill and there is a beautiful view to the surrounding countryside. It has a fine late 15th century painted rood screen – an example of one of the few surviving medieval rood screens in the county, making it a rare and historically important feature within the church.
There is parking next to the church and reserve parking at the edge of the field across the road.
Since 2012 the church is officially a Chapel of Ease, with irregular services. But since St Nicks Arts Centre opened here, there is so much to enjoy for everyone!
